Product description
Ultra-Fast Gigabit Router for Effortless HD Media Streaming
The ZyXEL NBG6616 Simultaneous Dual-Band Wireless AC1200 Media Router uses the latest AC technology to deliver concurrent transfer rates of up to 300 Mbps* for 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps* for 5 GHz. The dual-band network allows home users to enjoy an enhanced streaming and file-sharing experience with wider coverage and faster transfer speeds.
Dual-band Wireless AC1200 Media Router with speeds up to 300+867 Mbps
Today's high-speed mobile media devices demand more from wireless network hardware. The ZyXEL NBG6616 supports high-performance wireless networking of up to 1200 Mbps* when connecting to mobile devices supporting both 802.11 n and 802.11 ac for media streaming. The NBG6616 delivers high-quality full-HD video to multiple users over the less-crowded 5 GHz band for smooth playback with low latency.
Easy management with parental control and domain blocking
Easily set up and manage your home network devices with the ZyXEL NBG6616. You can control the bandwidth, restrict individual devices's Web access and parents can schedule the times at which Internet browsing is permitted on individual devices.
Advanced Quality of Service (QoS) ensures smooth multimedia streaming
Nobody likes having their media experience interrupted by choppy streaming. The ZyXEL NBG6616 QoS feature avoids this by prioritizing bandwidth usage to optimize multi-stream HD video, gaming, IP voice services and Web browsing. It improves the flow of critical network trafficparticularly useful with devices like VoIP phones or when used on high-volume networks.
