De T47 threaded BB cups zijn geschikt voor T47 frames en 24mm diameter spindle cranks. Deze cups hebben outboard bearings en worden meestal gebruikt in BB shells met een breedte van 68mm tot 100mm. De cups zijn gemaakt van machinaal bewerkt aluminium en worden direct in een T47 BB shell geschroefd. De bearings zijn eenvoudig te onderhouden of te vervangen. T47 BB cups zijn vergelijkbaar met standaard BSA threaded cups, waarbij de aandrijfzijde cup linkse schroefdraad heeft en de niet-aandrijfzijde cup rechtse schroefdraad heeft. Gebruik een kwaliteitsvet bij installatie in stalen of aluminium BB shells en een anti-seize compound die compatibel is met titanium BB shells.
