Het omgekeerde ontwerp maakt de paraplu met handgreep zoveel makkelijker in gebruik en voorkomt dat er water druppelt, waardoor je auto droog blijft. Je hoeft de paraplu dus niet open te houden om te laten drogen als je naar binnen komt uit de regen. Hij neemt minder ruimte in beslag in een hal of foyer.
