Het gevlochten polyester touw wordt veel gebruikt in de scheepvaart en is ook ideaal voor algemene toepassingen, zoals gebruik als een draaglijn of scheerlijn, maar ook voor het vastzetten van bijvoorbeeld zeilen en waslijnen.
Het polyester touw heeft een hoge sterkte, maar een lage rek. Bovendien heeft het ook een goede UV-, slijt- en chemicaliënbestendigheid, om een langdurig gebruik te garanderen.
Let op, dit touw heeft een gevlochten omhulsel, de kern is niet gevlochten.
