Although they don’t need to be replaced too often, once your gear cable starts to wear, you’ll notice the quality of your shifting lowering quite quickly. The SH-X17 inner gear cable works with the three major groupset manufacturers, Shimano, Campagnolo and SRAM. This gear cable contains 19 wires for added strength without being brittle and has a nipple with a diameter of 4x4mm. The SH-X17 comes in three length choices: 2,250mm, 3,000mm and 4,000mm.
