Het is 1912 en de tienjarige George is samen met zijn zusje Phoebe en tante Daisy naar Londen geweest. Voor de terugreis gaan ze aan boord van de gloednieuwe Titanic; het schip waarvan iedereen denkt dat het onzinkbaar is. George kan niet wachten! Hij wil dan ook alles van de Titanic weten. Hij ontmoet de kapitein en de ontwerper van het schip en ontdekt zelfs dat er misschien een mummie in het ruim ligt. Als hij op onderzoek uitgaat, hoort hij ineens een vreselijke klap.
