Het leven van Isa staat plotseling helemaal op z'n kop. Alles waar ze van houdt, lijkt ze zomaar ineens kwijt te raken: de gezellige boerderij van haar oma, de paarden waar Isa zo gek op is, en Omi zelf, op wie ze altijd kon rekenen. Isa wil het liefst troost zoeken bij dat een paard waarmee ze een bijzondere band voelt: Randalin. Maar ook die lijkt haar te worden afgenomen.
