Product description
Hideki woont met zijn ouders op het Japanse eiland Okinawa. Als de Tweede Wereldoorlog het eiland bereikt, moet Hideki meevechten in het Japanse leger. Hij krijgt twee granaten: één om zo veel mogelijk Amerikaanse soldaten mee te doden en één om daarna zichzelf mee te doden. Ray is net begonnen bij de Amerikaanse marine en wordt naar Okinawa gestuurd. Hij weet niet wat hij moet verwachten en of hij het zal overleven. Het enige wat hij wel weet, is dat hij niet net zo'n monster wil worden als zijn vader. Midden in het gevecht komen de jongens elkaar tegen.
