De PF30 met outboard lager BB is geschikt voor gebruik met SRAM DUB compatibele crankstellen met een spindel van 29 mm. De twee bewerkte aluminium cups worden aan elkaar geschroefd, waardoor de bottom bracket stabiel blijft in het frame, de levensduur van de lagers wordt verlengd en het onderhoud wordt vereenvoudigd. Dit betekent geen gekraak meer, soepelere werking, langere levensduur van de lagers en zeer snelle vervanging van de lagers.
