De afkoeling van het badwater via de badwanden wordt dan verwaarloosbaar ten opzichte van afkoeling via het wateroppervlak. Omdat het water door de isolatie langer warm blijft, hoef je het badwater niet bij te vullen met heet water. Badderen in aangenaam warm water kost met de thermoskussens tot wel 33% minder energie. Meest milieuvriendelijk geproduceerd isolatiemateriaal. Het volume van de kussens is klein genoeg om het pakketje TONZON thermoskussens per postfiets te bezorgen.
