Bijzondere kenmerken De STIHL PolyCut 28-2 maaikop is uitgerust met twee robuuste kunststof messen die aanzienlijk minder energie nodig hebben om te maaien dan een maaidraad. Dit betekent dat je je accubosmaaier veel langer kan gebruiken per laadbeurt. Voor de benzinebosmaaiers leidt het gebruik van kunststof messen tot een lager brandstofverbruik. Bij de maaikop worden ook zes kunststof reservemessen geleverd. Naast de kunststof messen kan je de STIHL PolyCut 28-2 ook gebruiken met een maaidraad, bijvoorbeeld om langs stoepranden of andere obstakels te werken. Maaidraden met een diameter van 2,4 mm of 2,7 mm zijn compatibel met de maaikop. Met de STIHL PolyCut 28-2 en zijn kunststof messen ben je perfect uitgerust om dik gras efficiënt en zorgvuldig te maaien met je kantenmaaier of bosmaaier. Bovendien kan je de kunststof messen van STIHL gemakkelijk vervangen. Gebruik hiervoor gewoon de bij je kantenmaaier of bosmaaier meegeleverde blokkeerpen. Hiermee kan je de as vergrendelen, vervolgens de maaikop draaien en de messen verwisselen. Optioneel kan je een beschermplaat op je STIHL PolyCut monteren om de slijtage te verminderen en de maaihoogte te vergroten.
