De STIHL PolyCut 6-2 maaikop is een universeel snijgereedschap voor de verschillende onderhoudswerken en om onkruid te verwijderen rondom het huis. De maaikop is specifiek ontworpen voor gebruik met de lichte benzine- en accukantenmaaiers van STIHL. De PolyCut 6-2 is uitgerust mettwee bewegende messen van kunststof. In vergelijking met maaikoppen met drie bewegende messen is er minder energie nodig om te maaien, waardoor je de accukantenmaaier langer kan gebruiken met dezelfde lading. De licht verhoogde maaihoogte vermindert ongewenst contact tussen de messen en de grond en voorkomt zo vroegtijdige slijtage. Dankzij zijn grote maaicirkel van 330 mm kan je met de STIHL PolyCut 6-2 snel en efficiënt gras maaien of graskanten trimmen. Bovendien zijn de kunststof messen gemakkelijk en zonder gereedschap verwisselbaar. Je kan de STIHL PolyCut 6-2 ook gebruiken met maaidraad, verkrijgbaar met een diameter van 2,0 mm en 2,4 mm, bijvoorbeeld om langs graskanten of in hoeken te trimmen en om onkruid te verwijderen. De STIHL PolyCut 6-2 is ook geschikt als snijgereedschap voor de volgende STIHL benzinekantmaaiers: FS 38, FS 40, FS 50 Je kan de PolyCut 6-2 bovendien ook gebruiken met de benzinekantenmaaier STIHL FS 45 (definitief uit het assortiment).
