De hoogwaardige M punt met iridium schrijfpunt glijdt over het papier, vlekt of krast niet. De verende dop voorkomt dat de inkt uit de punt gaat lekken. De STABILO Flow kan worden nagevuld met standaard vulpen vullingen.
