Indien er in verschillende lagen wordt gewerkt dient tussen de lagen bevochtigd te worden. Niet uitgehard schuim kan verwijderd worden met cleaner of aceton. Test voorafgaand aan het gebruik van de cleaner of oppervlakken hierdoor niet worden aangetast. Vooral kunststoffen en lak of verflagen kunnen hiervoor gevoelig zijn. Uitgehard schuim is enkel mechanisch te verwijderen of met Soudal PU-remover.
