Deze reiniger is uitermate geschikt voor gebruik in combinatie met het apart verkrijgbare Simson kettingreinigingsapparaat, maar kan ook zonder dit apparaat gebruikt worden.

Om de ketting grondig te reinigen, breng je de kettingreinigervloeistof aan op de ketting. Vervolgens verwijder je het vuil en oude vet met een schone doek. Na het schoonmaken is het aan te raden om de ketting te smeren met bijvoorbeeld de Simson Ketting Spray voor optimale prestaties.
