Deze remblokjes van Shimano zijn gemaakt van kunststof materiaal (resin) van de 5e generatie. Ze zorgen voor minder lawaai en een betere dosering. Het nieuwe 'resin' wrijvingsmateriaal zorgt voor 50% betere slijtagebestendigheid dan de L03A variant en zelfs 110% betere slijtagebestendigheid dan de L02A variant. Met de ingebouwde koelvin wordt de levensduur van de remblokjes verlengd en wordt 'fading' verminderd dankzij de koeltechnologie.
