Voor triatleten en tijdritspecialisten zijn er maar twee dingen van belang als het gaat om DISC-wielen. Het moet snel en licht zijn! De FFWD FALCON DISC brengt deze met vertrouwen. Tijdens onze ontwikkeling voor de perfecte DISC hebben we veel tijd besteed aan het verfijnen van de details. Het resulteerde in een verbluffend licht schijfwiel van slechts 1025 gram. De haakvormige (hooked) velg meet 21 mm intern en 28 mm extern. Het kan perfect worden gebruikt met elke banden setup; van binnenbanden tot tubeless met een minimale aanbevolen band van 25 mm. De FALCON is ontworpen rond een compleet nieuwe productiemethode. Er wordt gebruik gemaakt van een holle kern in combinatie met PMI (polymethacrylimide) schuim die met het carbon de zijwanden vormen. Deze structuur staat bekend om zijn sterkte en stijfheid gecombineerd met een licht gewicht. Daar dankt het wiel zijn aanzienlijke gewichtsvermindering aan.
