De schijven zijn voorzien van verbeterde ImagePerfect-firmware om het aantal verloren frames en downtime te minimaliseren, met een werkbelastingrating die drie keer hoger is dan die van desktopschijven. De schijven nemen 90% van de tijd op en bieden ondersteuning voor maximaal 64 HD-camera's.
