De Schwalbe SOS Pomp is klein, handig en uiterst stabiel. Hij is slechts 12,9 cm kort en past daarom in elk jerseyzakje of kan direct aan het frame worden bevestigd en is ook geschikt voor tubeless banden. Een framehouder wordt meegeleverd. Een slim detail is de draaibare pomphendel. Bij het oppompen wordt deze direct op het ventiel geklemd en niet vastgeschroefd. Dit voorkomt slijtage en zorgt voor een hoge mate van dichtheid. Een extra afdichting voorkomt dat er vuil in de SOS Pump komt.
