TLE-banden moeten altijd met afdichtmiddel worden gebruikt. Instructies voor de eerste montage: Schwalbe Pro One en Schwalbe Pro One TT Tubeless Easy banden moeten worden gebruikt met Doc Blue bandenafdichtmiddel. Minimaal 30 ml, bij voorkeur 60 ml per band. De band moet direct na het toevoegen van de afdichting minimaal 25 km worden gebruikt. Als de instructies voor de eerste montage worden genegeerd, kan de afdichting van de band niet worden gegarandeerd.
