The springs come in a configuration of 85 mm, 165 mm, 550lbs or 850lbs, 105 mm, 190 mm, 450lbs or 650lbs or 850lbs, 110 mm, 200 mm, 450lbs or 650lbs or 850lbs. The higher the pound value, the higher level of shock the suspension is able to absorb. This is very useful on a mountain bike as it provides a smooth ride on tricky off-road surfaces.
