Schleich Jonge Tijger 14730. De Siberische tijger is de grootste kat te wereld. Van het puntje van zijn staart tot aan zijn neus, kan hij tot wel 3 meter lang worden.De strepen van de tijger zijn zo uniek als vingerafdrukken. Zelfs de huid daaronder is gestreept. Op de eerste blik lijkt het opvallende patroon niet in zijn voordeel te zijn. De tijger wil natuurlijk niet ontdekt worden door zijn prooi. Wanneer de tijger in de schemering gaat jagen, valt hij door zijn strepen bijna niet op. Ze lijken op hoog gras, dat danst in de wind of op vluchtige schaduwen. In tegenstelling tot vele andere "katten" en roofkatten zwemt de tijger goed en graag. Hierdoor is ook het water voor vele prooien niet veilig. Jonge Bengaalse tijger van Schleich, type 14730.
