Eerst verwijdert ze het oude stro, daarna maakt ze de stal schoon met veel water. Hiervoor moet ze emmer na emmer naar de stal brengen. Wat een gedoe! Wie helpt haar de kruiwagen te duwen? Ze gebruikt de hooivork om het verse hooi voor de dieren te verdelen. De kat houdt haar gezelschap en let goed op. Nog een beetje water in de hondenbak en dan is Emily klaar. Het is gelukt!
