Met zijn lengte van zes meter is de concavenator een imposante verschijning. Zijn hagedissenhuid gloeit grasgroen en geel. Op zijn rug zit een langwerpige bult die rood afsteekt tegen de rest van zijn lichaam. Met zijn opvallende verschijning houdt hij vijanden op afstand. En als ze toch naderen, toont hij zijn scherpe tanden. Geen roofdier dat dan niet de benen neemt.De concavenator ziet er nogal giftig uit. Dat komt waarschijnlijk door die geelgroene hagedissenhuid en de vuurrode bult op zijn rug. Waarvoor die dient? Geen idee, maar het maakt wel indruk. Deze prehistorische reus dwingt ook respect af met zijn zes meter lengte. Mocht je het tegen hem op willen nemen, dan zul je snel merken dat hij niet van grapjes gediend is. Hij opent dan dreigend zijn krachtige kaken en laat zijn vlijmscherpe tanden zien. Wegwezen!
