Dit SATA-kabel van Delock dient voor de interne aansluiting van verschillende SATA-apparaten, zoals bijvoorbeeld harde schijven, controllerkaarten of flash-geheugen. Het voldoet aan de nieuwste standaard en ondersteunt een gegevensoverdrachtsnelheid van tot 6 Gb/s en is achterwaarts compatibel met de vorige SATA-versies, waarbij alleen de respectievelijke overdrachtssnelheid kan worden bereikt. Bij het aansluiten van een harde schijf wordt het SATA-kabel naar beneden weggeleid. Extra vergrendeling bij het aansluiten van het kabel wordt door de metalen clips aan de stekkers mogelijk gemaakt. ?
