De XLC BR-X114 remschijf is ontworpen voor brede compatibiliteit en biedt meerdere opties qua afmetingen en diktes, waardoor deze geschikt is voor uiteenlopende remsystemen en fietstoepassingen. Verkrijgbaar in diameters van 160 mm tot 203 mm, is deze remschijf toepasbaar op zowel voor- als achterwielen. (dit is de 160mm). Daarnaast is de BR-X114 ook geschikt voor gebruik in combinatie met Rohloff-naafversnellingen, wat de toepasbaarheid vergroot bij trekking- en toerfietsen. Het ontwerp met afgeschuinde randen (chamfered edges) draagt bij aan verhoogde veiligheid bij een val, terwijl de geïntegreerde slijtage-indicator helpt bij het tijdig vervangen van de remschijf voor optimale prestaties.
