Es entspricht somit den Anforderungen der Automobilindustrie gemäß DIN 50 021 SS und ASTM B 117-73 nach einem 480 Stunden Salzsprühtest. Durch die Segmentbauweise ist das Gewicht sehr leicht zuzuschneiden, da nur das Klebeband und der blaue Liner durchtrennt werden müssen. Der blaue Liner ist in den Abmessungen Deckungsgleich mit der Klebefolie. Die Segmente sind ohne Werkzeug leicht trennbar.
