It folds flat vertically and can be stored in a more space-saving way than the previous version. If you have a pannier with an auxiliary closure (additional strap with a buckle in the middle at the top), you also benefit from the load control strap, which brings the weight closer to the body. If you do not use this strap, you can also remove it. The thermoformed back combines good fit with sufficient ventilation via multiple air channels.
