Het gebruik van 2-oorklemmen is een goedkope en simpele oplossing voor vele eenvoudige slangassemblages. 2-oor klemmen worden door inknijpen van de klemtang gemonteerd en kunnen alleen door openknijpen met een zijsnijtang losgekoppeld worden. De klem kan niet hergebruikt worden. Norma 2-oorklemmen zijn leverbaar in een verzinkte (W1) en RVS (W4) uitvoering.
