De nieuwe NU11 is universeel inzetbaar. Deze kan samen met de meegeleverde hoofdband als hoofdlamp of met clip eenvoudig aan de uitrusting of de Basecap worden bevestigd. De ingebouwde Li-ion-accu met een capaciteit van 600 mAh maakt een gebruiksduur van maximaal 6 uur mogelijk. De accu wordt via een USB-C-laadaansluiting opgeladen. Nieuw is de besturing van NU11. De NU11 beschikt over een gewone besturing via schakelaar en een besturing via gebaren. Als de IR-sensor geactiveerd wordt, kan de NiteCore NU11 via een „wisser” voor de lamp worden in- en uitgeschakeld.
