Met de Dog Twister moet de hond snoepjes vinden door de schijven, in de vorm van taartpunten, in verschillende richtingen in het rond te schuiven. Het spel kan nog uitdagender gemaakt worden door de schijven met pluggen vast te zetten, die de hond dan eerst moet verwijderen, voordat de schijven verschoven kunnen worden.
De Dog Twister is er natuurlijk voor om samen met uw hond een leuke tijd te hebben. Uw hond moet leren om het snoepje, de beloning, te vinden door de ene na de andere schijf in verschillende richtingen te verschuiven. Onder deze schijven zitten uitsparingen waarin de snoepjes verborgen kunnen worden. Doe het eerst uw hond voor zodat hij het later na kan doen. Uw hond kijkt, luistert, ruikt en leert.

. Laat uw hond zien waar het lekkers verstopt wordt.
. Moedig uw hond aan en help een beetje.
. Als uw hond erin slaagt een oefening goed te volbrengen beloon hem dan enthousiast.
. Laat uw hond niet alleen spelen. Als u uitgespeeld bent, berg het spel dan op.
Het speeltje is eenvoudig te reinigen met warm water en (milde) zeep. Grondig afspoelen en droog maken.
