De Compact Pocket Rescue-tool is terug! De eerste reanimatietool werd voor het eerst ontwikkeld in 1992 uit noodzaak voor de race. Tijdens het leiden van een World Cup XC gleed de stuurpen van Thomas Frischknecht weg, waardoor hij moest stoppen, hem strakker moest zetten en zo kostbare tijd verloor. Tom Ritchey wist dat hij het zich niet kon veroorloven zijn rijders de hele wereld over te sturen om te racen. En ze niet te laten finishen vanwege eenvoudige mechanica. De CPR9 werd ontwikkeld om dit probleem op te lossen. De lichte en betrouwbare CPR-tool was de eerste multitool die werd ontworpen om een berijder in nood te helpen tijdens het rijden of racen.
