De Maxxis Minion DHF mountainbike banden combineren de soepele noppen van een Downhill band met de lekbeschermende eigenschappen van de Exo Protection technologie. Deze banden zijn ideaal voor gebruik op wisselende parcoursen in verschillende omstandigheden, zoals zachte en modderige ondergronden. Ze bieden een goede grip in de bochten en zijn geschikt voor Downhill en Enduro circuits met lange afdalingen en klimmen. De band is voorzien van de Exo Protection technologie, een snijbestendige en slijtvaste beschermlaag in de zijwand. Hierdoor is de band goed beschermd tegen scherpe voorwerpen die de band kunnen beschadigen. De Enduro versie heeft een 3C MaxxTerra rubber compound en DoubleDown behuizing voor extra duurzaamheid.
