De Ardent Race vult het gat tussen de Ikon en de Ardent, tussen snelle XC-band en trailband. Het profiel is middelhoog, de middenlamellen zijn smal maar laten voldoende ruimte voor een goede zelfreiniging en zijn afgeschuind voor een lagere rolweerstand. De schoenplaten aan de zijkant zijn schuin en verlegd en bijten in de grond in bochten. Dit maakt de Ardent Race de juiste band voor allroundgebruik en op de trails.
