Glitterlavalampen vormen de perfecte combinatie van modern, minimalistisch design met de retro-uitstraling van de originele lavalampen uit de jaren 60. Lavalampen zijn een iconisch item en worden nu beschouwd als een klassieker in decoratie en sfeerverlichting. Hun succes is te danken aan de ontspanning die het hypnotiserende effect van de opstijgende en neerdalende wasbelletjes teweegbrengt. De lamp werkt op één 30W R39-lamp (meegeleverd). Het is belangrijk om te weten dat het bij het eerste gebruik van een lavalamp 3 tot 5 uur duurt voordat de was opwarmt en belletjes begint te vormen; daarna neemt de tijd af. De optimale temperatuur voor een goede werking ligt tussen 21 en 26 °C. De lamp is 36 cm hoog en heeft een diameter van 9 cm. Gemaakt van aluminium en glas. In de fles bevindt zich was die opwarmt, van vaste toestand verandert en in de vorm van belletjes begint te vloeien. Raak geen enkel onderdeel van de lavalamp aan terwijl deze brandt of net is uitgeschakeld. De lamp bereikt zeer hoge temperaturen tijdens gebruik. Voldoet aan de Europese normen.
