Het Marumi Protect Filter DHG 86 mm is een neutraal beschermfilter dat het objectief beschermt zonder een ongewenst filtereffect. Het filter is gemaakt van de helderste glassoort en is vuil- en waterafstotend. Het beschermt de sensor van de digitale camera tegen reflectie en vervorming, dankzij de speciale coating die de reflectie van binnenkomend licht sterk vermindert. Dit filter heeft geen invloed op de belichtingstijd.
