De E20 is een zelfspannende verbinder die met elke Lamello-groeffreesmachine kan worden gebruikt. De E20 wordt met een hamer in de groef van 4 mm geslagen. Het verloop van de ribben aan de zijkant verankert zich daarbij in het werkstuk en spant de werkstukken samen. Zo dient de E20 als perfecte lijmhulp in de werkplaats of op de bouwplaats. De E20-L is geschikt voor oppervlakteverbindingen zoals fotolijsten, sokkel- of plaatverlengstukken. De E20-H wordt in de rand gebruikt en dient bijvoorbeeld als sokkelverbinder.
