De Konus Emperor 8x42 WP/WA beschikt over phase gecoate BAK-4 prisma's. Dit zorgt voor een helder scherp zicht wat vooral merkbaar is bij het observeren van de kleinste details. Verder is de kijker gasgevuld en dus waterdicht. De rubberen behuizing in combinatie met het lichte gewicht, zorgt voor een comfortabel geheel. Door de grote uittrede pupil en de twist-up oculairen is deze kijker ook geschikt voor oudere mensen en brildragers. Doordat de kijker met behulp van de Konus statief adapter op een statief kan worden aangesloten krijgt u een stabiel beeld.
