Met deze platte 6-aderige Goobay 50254 telefoonkabel op rol is het mogelijk om zelf kabels voor het aansluiten van telefoons te maken. De kabel heeft een lengte van 100 meter, dikte AWG30 en is voorzien van een koperen kern. Deze kern bestaat uit 6 draden die afzonderlijk worden beschermd door een mantel van pvc in verschillende kleuren. Het geheel van aders wordt beschermd door een grotere mantel van zwart pvc. De kleuren van de aders zijn blauw, geel, groen, rood, zwart en wit. Door deze kleurcoderingen is het mogelijk om de stekkers aan de uiteinden van de kabels op de juiste manier aan te sluiten. De Goobay telefoonkabel op rol kan gebruikt worden in combinatie met RJ12 connectoren. Deze kunnen worden vastgeklemd op de kabel met een krimptang.
