Deze modulaire RJ12 stekker van Goobay type 58626 is ontworpen voor de koppeling met een ronde telefoonkabel. De stekker is transparant, waardoor de aansluiting van de kabel eenvoudig wordt gemaakt. Daardoor kunt u precies de 6 aders van de ronde telefoonkabel die u wilt aansluiten in de stekker steken. Nadat de kabel op maat gemaakt is en de kernen zichtbaar zijn, kunt u dit bewerkstelligen. Het is vervolgens mogelijk om de modulaire RJ12 stekker vast te zetten met een krimptang. De contactpunten van de male RJ12 connector zijn verguld, voor een goede connectie met de aansluiting waarin de telefoonkabel geplaatst zal worden. De bovenkant is voorzien van een lipje, dat dient als trekontlasting. Hierdoor wordt de stekker in het contact vastgeklikt en kan de kabel niet losraken.
