Hultafors hakbijl Åby is een hybride model met veel toepassingsmogelijkheden. Åby heeft een rechte snijrand en een inkeping voor de vingers direct onder de bijlkop voor meer precisie. De lange slanke en ergonomische steel minimaliseert het gewicht, maar geeft tegelijkertijd veel kracht bij het uithalen. Deze bijl is perfect voor het bouwen van beschutting, verwerken van brandhout, houtsnijwerk en precisiewerk. Kortom: het is je ideale compagnon in het bos. De bijl is met de hand gesmeed van Zweeds kwaliteitsstaal in de smederij in Hults Bruk waar de traditie teruggaat tot het jaar 1697.
