Deze is bedoeld voor het detecteren van hoge temperaturen in ruimtes waar rookmelders minder geschikt zijn, zoals keukens of technische ruimten. De melder werkt met een thermische sensor en geeft alarm zodra een temperatuur van 57 °C wordt bereikt. De wordt gevoed via 230 V netspanning en is voorzien van een 9 V back-up batterij voor werking bij spanningsuitval. Het geluidsniveau van 85 dB zorgt voor een duidelijke waarschuwing. De melder is bedraad koppelbaar met compatibele melders, waardoor meerdere melders gelijktijdig alarm kunnen geven. Voor bediening en controle beschikt de melder over een testknop en pauzefunctie. Een Beinde-levensduur waarschuwing geeft aan wanneer vervanging nodig is.
