Grijpringen van hout en siliconen zijn onmisbaar voor babyhandjes. Ze activeren de grijpreflex en bevorderen de ontwikkelingsprocessen van gericht grijpen. Er worden veel zintuiglijke indrukken doorgegeven die de baby helpen zijn omgeving te verkennen. Dit product uit de goki-baby serie bevat hoogwaardige siliconen kralen; deze geven het speelgoed een extra haptische stimulans voor de ontwikkeling van de zintuigen. Het samenspel van zacht en hard, van gladde en doffe oppervlakken bevordert ook de taalontwikkeling, want bij het "verkennen" van een object speelt de waarneming via de tong en lippen van een kind een niet te onderschatten rol.
