The Falcon Eyes LPS-80T is an 80 Watt strong LED spot lamp with daylight color temperature (5600K). You can use the LPS-80T as a continuous lamp, but you can also set themed effects for use during video recording. You can control the lamp both on the housing and remotely with your smartphone.

The power of the lamp can be infinitely adjusted from 0-100%. The maximum power is 80W and provides a lux value of no less than 61,000 at a distance of half a meter. In addition to continuous light, you can also use 9 different themed effects. Think of lightning and TV light. This allows you to simulate certain situations lifelike. Both the continuous light and the themed effects are displayed with a color temperature of 5600K, or daylight.

You can power the lamp from mains power. You will receive the corresponding adapter with the product as standard. To prevent overheating, the lamp is equipped with built-in motor cooling. This has a sound output of only 45dB at 20 cm and 38.6dB at half a meter. At the bottom there is a universal spigot connection, so that you can place the LPS-80T on almost any standard lamp tripod (see optional accessories). There is a handle on the housing to easily position and move the LED lamp.

Connection and accessories

The lamp has a Bowens connection. This means that you can attach numerous accessories with a Bowens connection (also known as S-bayonet or Linkstar connection) to the lamp to create different lighting effects. However, you can also connect accessories from other brands to the LPS-80T using optional adapter rings. Common accessories are, for example, a softbox, diffuser dome or conical snoot. These are optionally available. With this article you will receive a reflector to give the light more control and a diffuser to soften the light.

Multi-function control

You can control the studio lamp in three different ways:

• Via the rotary knob on the back of the lamp
• Remotely via your smartphone via free app
• Using the remote control (included)

At the back of the housing there is a rotary knob with which you can continuously adjust the power (0-100%). However, you can also control the lamp remotely via your smartphone. This prevents you from having to walk to the lamp every time to change a setting. Control with your smartphone is via BlueTooth and can be done with the free DeSal Lite+ app. It is available for download for both iOS and Android . Finally, you can also control the lamp with the supplied remote control. Because the LPS-80T has a fixed color temperature, using the CCT button on the remote control (see pictures) will not change the color temperature.
