The Falcon Eyes RX-48TDX II is a flexible, waterproof LED panel that comes with a softbox, diffuser cloth and honeycomb. The lamp is bi-color, has a power of 300 Watt and also gives you the possibility to set different theme effects. You can fold the RX-48TDX II into any position and use it on both AC and battery power. In short: the perfect lamp for use at any location.

There are 1512 small LED lights (756x white and 756x yellow) on the flexible panel. Allows you to adjust the color temperature from 3000K (warm yellow light) to 5600K (daylight). You can easily adjust the color temperature to the ambient light for a natural result. The lamp provides stable light without flickering. You can also continuously add more or less power, up to a maximum of 300W. To soften the light, you can use the softbox and diffusing cloth. To direct the light more, you can use the honeycomb. These accessories are included as standard in this set. Finally, you can use 9 themed effects - such as flashing lights, lightning and candlelight - to simulate real life situations.

The flex panel is suitable for use in your studio (mains power) and on location (with optional V-mount battery). The lamp comes with an X-bracket with universal spigot connection. This allows you to place the RX-48TDX II on any standard lamp tripod.

Is the RX-48TDX II really waterproof?

The LED panel can withstand immersion in water for 30 minutes, tested to a depth of 30 meters. In this series, only the RX-18TDX II is officially waterproof certified (IPX8), so this lamp is not certified yet. However, it is built exactly the same. Keep in mind that the supplied control unit is not waterproof, but with the help of a waterproof extension cable (for example the SP-XC04: see optional accessories) you can still use the LED mat underwater.

Application Falcon Eyes RX-48TDX II

The Falcon Eyes LED lamp is flexible in several ways. What is immediately noticeable is that the lamp can be folded in 360 degrees, so that you can illuminate objects from multiple angles with one lamp. But the lamp can also be used for many applications. Think of portrait photography or a video production, where you can use the theme effects. Knowing that the lamp is waterproof, you can also use the RX-48TDX II in rainy conditions, for example during an interview.
