Is een type grondkabel dat vaak wordt gebruikt voor het aanleggen van elektrische installaties in de grond of in beton. De kabel bestaat uit meerdere aders van koperdraad, geïsoleerd met PVC en ommanteld met een zwarte PVC-mantel. De letters "YMVK" staan voor "YM = PVC geïsoleerd" en "VK = PVC ommanteld". De letters "as" geven aan dat de kabel een bijzonder hoge mechanische weerstand heeft en geschikt is voor toepassingen waarbij er sprake is van zware belastingen of mechanische stress.
