Het omwikkelde gebied wordt dan gladder zodat de buizen verder in ellkaar gedraaid kunnen worden. Hierdoor is de kans op lekken via het schroefdraad vele malen kleiner. Wikkel altijd rechtsom, met de schroefdraad naar je toe. Begin aan de kant van de buis. Houd de teflontape tijdens het wikkelen goed strak. Voldoet aan Gastec QA KL 0.2.
