Met MAX-type technologie biedt dit zwart-oxiderende, ABEC-3 lager 35-40% hogere belastingscapaciteit dan standaard radiale lagers dankzij een uniek ontwerp dat het aantal balletjes maximaliseert via op maat geslepen loopgroeven. Het diepe loopontwerp biedt betere zijwaartse ondersteuning bij de torsie- en multi-directionele krachten die typisch zijn voor mountainbike-pivots. Uitgerust met vol-contact, dubbele lip labyrinth (LLU) afdichtingen en Grade 10 balletjes, zorgt het voor maximale bescherming tegen vuil en vocht, terwijl de Black-Oxide/Magnetite coating corrosiebestendigheid verhoogt. Het lager is gevuld met 90% van hoge-druk smeermiddel voor optimale smering. Veel gebruikt als pivotlager in suspensiesystemen door topfietsmerken, verkrijgbaar in materialen zoals hoogcarbon-chroomstaal, 440C roestvrij staal, keramisch-hybride en XD-15.
