Met deze witte telefoon splitter kunt u van een een RJ11 aansluiting twee aansluitingen maken. Voor de verbinding met de bestaande aansluiting is er aan de kant voor invoer van het signaal een female RJ11 aansluitpunt geplaatst. Daarop kan een RJ11 telefoonkabel met een male stekker worden gekoppeld. Het signaal wordt in de splitter verdeeld richting twee female RJ11 aansluitingen voor uitvoer. Hierop kunnen twee telefoonkabels worden aangesloten voor ontvangst van het signaal. De connectoren in de aansluitingen zijn verguld voor een goede verbinding met de stekkers. RJ11 stekkers die in de telefoon splitter gebruikt worden, klikken vast met een trekontlasting waardoor ze niet los kunnen raken. Door het lipje boven op de stekker in te drukken, kunt u de stekkers ontkoppelen.
