Dankzij de stevige constructie is deze tang erg slijtvast. De koolstofstalen messen en kaken van gelegeerd staal zijn gehard en getemperd. De kunststof handgreep is licht van gewicht. De strippers kunnen geïsoleerde draden binnen een bereik van 0,13 - 8 mm² / 8 - 26 AWG knippen, terwijl de krimpers werken op zowel geïsoleerde als niet-geïsoleerde verbindingen met een bereik van 0,5 - 6 mm² / 10 - 22 AWG.
